Accessibility Statement

AutoSAM is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We work to improve the experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards as part of our development process.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. AutoSAM targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Our development process includes automated accessibility checks (Lighthouse accessibility audits, axe) as a quality gate before changes ship. We have not yet completed a full manual conformance audit; that is on our roadmap.

Measures to support accessibility

AutoSAM takes the following measures to support accessibility:

• Include accessibility as part of our product development lifecycle
• Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes throughout the application
• Ensure sufficient color contrast ratios across all UI components
• Provide keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
• Run automated accessibility checks (Lighthouse accessibility audits, axe) as a mandatory quality gate for every change

Known limitations

AutoSAM has not yet completed a full manual WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance audit. Our current practice relies on automated checks (Lighthouse, axe) rather than full manual testing with assistive technologies, so some barriers may exist that automated tooling does not catch. We are working toward a full manual audit and will update this statement when it is complete.

Formal accessibility request process

To submit a formal accessibility request or report a compliance concern, email info@autosam.io with the subject line "Accessibility Request." Please include a description of the issue, the URL or feature affected, and the assistive technology you are using (if applicable). We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and provide an estimated timeline for resolution, or, if the issue cannot be remediated in a reasonable time frame, describe an equivalent accessible alternative.

Compatibility

AutoSAM works with the following browsers and assistive technologies:

• Modern versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
• Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver, though we have not yet completed formal, documented test coverage across all three
• Content reflows to support browser zoom and viewport-size changes

Section 508. AutoSAM is not a federal information system and is not subject to a Section 508 mandate. Federal contractors who reuse AutoSAM outputs within their own federal workflows should refer to their own agency's Section 508 conformance procedures. AutoSAM has not commissioned a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR).
